Safe at Home
The Safe at Home service is based at Age UK Milton Keynes, working with SaferMK and partner agencies to improve the quality of life of vulnerable people aged 18 years and over.
Our assessor will visit your home and carry out a free Safe at Home check which may include;
- Fitting free smoke alarms
- Carbon monoxide alarms (free for over 60s)
- Advice on fire prevention, home safety and security, falls prevention, minor home repairs, heating and insulation

Safe at Home is a multi-agency initiative comprising Milton Keynes Community Safety Partnership, Thames Valley Police, Bucks Fire & Rescue Service the NHS and PCT.
