Age UK Milton Keynes offers the following free, confidential services which are tailored to your needs;
- CV and job application letter writing
- Interview techniques and mock interviews
- Networking skills
- Job search skills
- Skills checks, career and training advice
- One-to-one computer training: the basics of using a computer to send and open emails, job search and letter writing
- Group IT training on specific Microsoft programs
- Transferable SkillsCourse: a half day course to help you identify the miscellany of skills you have acquired
These services are delivered on a one-to-one basis with a trained adviser. We also run a Job Club where you can interact with other employment advice clients.
We are also pleased to announce that having achieved Assessment Status at The Peartree Centre we can now offer Age UK Milton Keynes staff and volunteers free training in NVQs at Levels 2 and 3 in Retail and in Health and Social Care.
