Safe at Home referralYou can now refer yourself (or a relative, neighbour or friend) to the Safe at Home service if you have any concerns over safety at home.
The Safe at Home service aims to reduce fire and crime, and the fear of fire and crime amongst vulnerable adults. The service is supported and administered by Age Concern Milton Keynes, but it is a multi-agency initiative supported by Milton Keynes Community Safety Partnership, Thames Valley Police, Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service and the NHS.

New Chief Executive for new charityTom Wright CBE has been appointed as Chief Executive of the new charity that is being formed by Age Concern England and Help the Aged. He will start work in January 2009, bringing together over two thousand members of staff from both organisations. Age Concern Milton Keynes is just one of the hundreds of organisations that makes up the Age Concern federation. The new charity that Tom Wright will be Chief Executive of will have a new name - not yet decided upon.
